Everstaff is seeking an Accounting Manager for a non-profit organization in Beachwood!

Essential Job Functions:
- Record and/or review transactions in the general ledger, including those related to trusts and investment accounts.
- Record supporting foundation transactions in the general ledger and prepare monthly financial reports.
- Oversee and manage the processing of grant payable requests for supporting foundations, endowments, and donor-advised funds, collaborating closely with the Development department.
- Perform quarterly reconciliation of grants payable.
- Contribute to the preparation of quarterly internal financial reports.
- Assist with the annual audit process by preparing workpapers and performing reconciliations.
- Stay informed about financial and tax reporting requirements applicable to non-profit organizations.
- Complete other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:
- Strong verbal and written communication skills for interacting with internal and external stakeholders.
- Deep understanding of GAAP

- Strong decision-making and problem-solving abilities.
- Excellent organizational skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple responsibilities under pressure.

- Ability to collaborate effectively with colleagues across various departments.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and Adobe; ability to quickly learn new software systems and databases.

Education, Training, and Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting required.
- 5-7 years of relevant professional experience.
- Experience with various financial software/accounting systems.
- CPA license preferred.

Salary: $75,000-$85,000/yr
