Key Responsibilities:

• Property Management Oversight: Review monthly and quarterly property management reports to ensure adherence to company policies and industry standards.
• Expense Management: Ensure accurate accrual accounting for tenant-related expenses.
• Portfolio Support: Partner closely with Asset Managers to provide insights and support for assigned portfolios.
• Resource to Third-Party Accountants: Offer guidance on accounting policies, cash collections, budget prep, intercompany accounting, and cash forecasting.
• Due Diligence for Acquisitions: Participate in acquisition due diligence, including preparing closing statements for acquisitions and sales.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business (required)
• 3+ years of real estate accounting experience
• Proficiency in fair value GAAP and tax accounting
• Strong analytical, communication, and interpersonal skills
