About the Job
- The Accounting Manager will review operating and tax escalations, tax basis amortization and depreciation calculations
- Perform reconciliations and oversee cost pools, expense caps, and base year calculations
- Manage Loan Compliance and payments
- Project annual and quarterly budgets
- Oversee lender reporting and loan and escrow draws
- Prepare audited and unaudited financial statements and reports
- Provide accounting for development projects
- Prepare financial reporting on consolidation
- Calculate and process management fee and income allocations
- Review settlement statements and estoppels
- The Accounting Manager will record opening entries and monitor all post-closing activity
- Respond to Buyer diligence requests and prepare prorations
- Record closing entries
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting/Business
- 5+ years of experience with Commercial R/E
- 2+ years of supervisory experience
- Experience with fair value GAAP, and tax accounting
- Experience with Taxable REIT Subsidiaries is a plus
- Strong understanding of waterfall calculations
- Experience in year-end audit and loan compliance
- Strong communication skills
- Proficiency with financial software systems applications
The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.

Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
