Our Accounting & Finance Staffing team is currently looking to speak with candidates who would be a good fit for roles with the specifications below:
Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement corporate accounting policies
- Serve as key member of the month-end close process
- Collaborate cross-functionally to ensure all deliverables are accurate and of the highest quality
- Manage team priorities to ensure timely reporting to clients
- Review team members’ work to ensure quality and accuracy
- Train team members regarding technical requirements of each fund/account and associated processes
- Prepare analysis for various internal and external requests
- Prepare SEC reports, earnings releases, and other financial reporting
- Perform Technical Accounting research as needed
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting
- CPA strongly preferred
- At least 5 years of relevant experience, preferably in Public Accounting, with management and/or leadership experience
- Self-starter with strong sense of urgency and initiative
- Strong problem solver, possessing the ability to see how the different pieces of the puzzle fit together
- Excellent communicator, both written and verbal, to act as a cross-functional business partner
- Highly detail-oriented, with an analytical approach to supporting the strategic decision-making process
- Ability to troubleshoot any issues that arise with the systems or data
