About the Job
Accounting Manager
The responsibility of the Accounting Manager is to coordinate all accounting functions of 8K’s development, construction and property manager efforts, using a high level of critical thinking and organization skills. The accounting Manager will coordinate information and reporting amongst many real estate industry-professionals including government administrators (DCED and DEI), lenders, subcontractors and investors. Using a wide range of accounting knowledge and relationships, an accounting manager at 8K ensures project compliance, an accurate flow of funds and articulated financial reporting.
Your days at 8K may include:
- Managing accounts payable to ensure timely payments and lien waiver documentation
- Approving and maintaining subcontractor qualifications and contracts
- Submitting monthly subcontracting reports to government agencies (VCCS)
- Assisting project managers with construction draw requests and accounting
- Recording accounts receivable and monitoring A/R Ledgers
- Coordinating weekly payroll processing with 8Ks 3rd party HR Administrator
- Reconciling bank statements
- Managing 8K Insurance policy requirements and coverages

Compensation and Benefits
- Salary range: $52,000 - $60,000
- 401(k), including employer match
