Job Details
Key Responsibilities:
Financial Management: Oversee the preparation and maintenance of financial records, including general ledger, accounts payable, accounts receivable, and payroll. Ensure accurate and timely financial reporting in compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements.
Project Accounting: Manage project-specific accounting tasks, including tracking project costs, preparing job cost reports, and analyzing project profitability. Work closely with project managers to ensure budget adherence and accurate cost tracking.
Budgeting and Forecasting: Develop and manage annual budgets, financial forecasts, and long-term financial plans. Monitor budget performance and provide variance analysis and recommendations for corrective actions.
Financial Reporting: Prepare and present financial statements, reports, and analysis to senior management and stakeholders. Ensure compliance with accounting principles and industry standards.
Team Leadership: Supervise and mentor the accounting team, providing guidance, training, and support. Conduct performance evaluations and manage staffing needs.
Audit and Compliance: Coordinate and facilitate internal and external audits. Ensure adherence to financial regulations, company policies, and best practices.
Process Improvement: Identify and implement process improvements to enhance financial operations, accuracy, and efficiency. Stay current with industry trends and changes in accounting standards.
