Vaco Resources is on the lookout for an accomplished Senior Accounting Consultant to play a pivotal role in the growth of a leading manufacturing company in Santa Ana, CA. This high-level consultant will be instrumental in managing the financial aspects of mergers and acquisitions, ensuring seamless integration and financial stability.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee the financial integration of acquired assets, ensuring compliance and alignment with corporate financial strategies.
- Manage and optimize the company’s ERP system for financial reporting and operations.
- Lead the conversion and modification of financial files to align with current systems and processes.
- Provide hands-on training and guidance to team members on system utilization and best practices.
- Spearhead the month-end closing process, including the preparation of balance sheets, general ledgers, and journal entries.
Ideal Candidate Profile:
- Proven experience at the Accounting Manager or Controller level, with a strong background in Mergers & Acquisitions.
- Solid understanding of the manufacturing and distribution industries.
- IT proficiency, particularly with ERP systems, is highly desirable.
- Experience with inventory management and financial operations within a manufacturing context.
- Excellent teaching abilities and a collaborative approach to knowledge sharing.

The individual may also be eligible for discretionary bonuses.
