You will be responsible for preparing balance sheets, cash flow statements, coordinating annual audits, and supervising accounting staff. Responsibilities:
As an Accounting Manager, you will be responsible for the following:
- Oversee and manage the general accounting functions, including, but not limited to: accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger, and taxes.
- Prepare balance sheets and cash flow statements on a regular basis.
- Coordinate the annual audit process, liaising with external auditors.
- Supervise the accounting team to ensure the timely and accurate delivery of financial reports.
- Conduct account reconciliation activities for all GL accounts.
- Manage month-end close responsibilities.
- Handle AR invoicing and maintain a fixed asset log.
- Proactively analyze accounts to identify discrepancies and resolve all accounting issues.
- Collaborate with the finance team to create and implement financial policies and procedures.
- Utilize MS Office tools, particularly Advanced Excel and Outlook, to streamline accounting processes and improve productivity.
Qualifications:
The successful candidate for the Accounting Manager role should possess the following qualifications:
- A Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance.
- 3 - 6 years of strong accounting experience, preferably within the retail sector.
- Proficiency in MS Office, including Word, Advanced Excel, and Outlook.
- Solid experience with balance sheet and cash flow preparation.
- Experience coordinating annual audits.
- Proven ability to supervise and lead an accounting staff.
- Extensive experience with account reconciliation and month-end close responsibilities.
- Detailed understanding of AR invoicing and maintaining a fixed asset log.
- Exceptional analytical skills with a focus on detail and accuracy.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
- A proactive approach to problem-solving with strong decision-making skills.
