We are actively seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Accounting Manager to join our high-energy finance team. This is a permanent, full-time role that offers an exciting opportunity to manage key areas of our accounting operations and contribute to our financial success. The ideal candidate will have a robust understanding of GAAP, hold a CPA certification, and bring 8-10 years of general accounting experience. Experience in a public accounting firm or a private corporate manufacturing environment is highly desirable.
Responsibilities:
As an Accounting Manager, your key responsibilities will include:
1. Ensuring intercompany activity is properly recorded.
2. Managing the accounts receivable and accounts payable staff, ensuring smooth and efficient operations.
3. Overseeing and contributing to the month-end and year-end close processes, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
4. Maintaining Fixed Assets and CIP Projects, ensuring accurate and up-to-date records.
5. Implementing and managing ERP systems, optimizing processes for efficiency and accuracy.
6. Collaborating with other departments to streamline financial operations and support company-wide financial goals.
Qualifications:
To be considered for this role, you should have the following qualifications:
1. A CPA certification is required.
2. 8-10 years of general accounting experience, either in a public accounting firm or in a private corporate manufacturing environment.
3. Proven experience in managing Fixed Assets and CIP Projects.
4. Demonstrated ability to manage accounts receivable and accounts payable staff.
5. Proficiency in overseeing and contributing to the month-end and year-end close processes.
6. Experience with ERP or systems implementation is highly desirable.
7. Excellent communication and leadership skills.
8. A strong understanding of GAAP.
9. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
