How You Will Contribute
- Manage and apply cash, prepare the contract billings, process payroll using a third-party vendor, manage the aged accounts receivable and serve as backup to accounts payable.
- Perform month end close including bank reconciliations, account reconciliations, accruals, and running the statements.
- Perform project accounting, allocating costs to the proper job, phase, cost code, cost class, sales tax jurisdiction, and capturing both direct and indirect equipment and labor burden.
- Prepare a 12-week rolling cash flow and related P&L forecast.
- Provide monthly bank reporting/credit compliance as well as manage insurance.
- Assist with HR related functions such as benefit administration and open enrollment.
- Coordinate the annual audit and tax preparation work with the external CPA firm.
- Other tasks and projects as assigned.

Required Experience:
About YOU
- Minimum 5 years of accounting experience with progressive responsibilities in the construction industry.
- BA in accounting or finance preferred.
- Knowledge of and experience with U.S. GAAP as well as construction accounting practices.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Detail oriented, self-motivated, and ethical/professional standards.
