About the Job
A financial services firm based in New York City is seeking an experienced professional to join their team as an Accounting Manager.
Responsibilities:
- Oversee client accounts and supervise staff
- Handle clients' general ledger, including bank reconciliations; payroll processing; depreciation; accruals and prepaids
- Prepare annual financial statements and footnotes
- Assist clients with their annual certified audit and FINRA and SEC regulatory examinations
- Prepare monthly/quarterly FOCUS reports
- Perform other duties as needed
Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree in accounting, finance, or related field
- Ability to meet deadlines
- Proficiency in QuickBooks and Microsoft Excel
- Excellent verbal and written communications skills
Desired Skills:
- Active Series 27 FinOp license is preferred or willingness to obtain Series 27 FinOp license
- CPA license
