Responsibility
•Involved in the monthly close process to issue timely and accurate monthly financial statements in accordance with IFRS; reviewed related account analysis for accuracy.
•General ledger maintenance (new department and account setup including department & account groups).
•Helping with external and internal audits ensuring all necessary work is performed, and auditors' questions and follow-up items are addressed to ensure the audit is completed timely and efficiently.
•Supervise 4 direct reports
•Working with the districts for inventory processing
•Collaborating and interacting with the business to foster effective partnerships
•Driving continuous improvement in accounting operations by assessing current accounting operations and offering recommendations for improvement and implementing new processes.
•Ad-hoc requests and special projects, such as system upgrades, acquisitions, implementations, workflow automation, and account trend.
Skills
• 8+ years of experience in accounting, reporting, and financial analysis
• Ability to travel as required up to 10%
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting / CPA desired
• Proven ability to be a collaborative partner with business groups
• Acquisition and implementation experience a plus
• Supervisory experience
• Must have the desire to thrive in a dynamic environment; able to move quickly with program implementation and maintain focus amid change.
•Excellent technical skills – Strong working knowledge of financial reporting systems (preferably HFM, Oracle, SAP)
