Hybrid - 2 or 3 days onsite
Responsibilities
Accounting:
- Manage the day-to-day bookkeeping of the US market (30+ legal entities) (including AP, AR, closing entries, intercompany reconciliations).
- Set-up and thorough follow-up of analytical accounting
- Prepare the financial statements, tax filings and other compliance requirements (in collaboration with external accountants and/or tax advisors).
- Book and monitor Monthly Payroll
- Support the Head of Finance to the preparation of quarterly consolidated figures to report to shareholders
- Ensure the accurate and timely monthly closings in compliance with local GAAP
- Collaborate and communicate with external auditors and local tax authorities.
- Manage and coach junior accountants.
Budgeting and reporting:
- Coordinate with the operational teams to gather inputs and smoothly close the books.
- Assist the financial controller in actuals vs budget analysis and budgeting process
Cash Management:
- Prepare and/or review suppliers payments and intercompany payments within the Group.
- Planning of payments and receivables to reduce working capital
Qualifications
An accounting profile with 5+ years experience. Knowledge of the real estate industry and experience in an accounting firm is a plus
Bonus points if you can speak French.
