Position Overview:
As the Accounting Manager, you will oversee all bookkeeping services provided to our clients, ensuring accuracy and efficiency in our operations. You will manage a team responsible for day-to-day bookkeeping tasks, including accounts payable (AP), accounts receivable (AR), payroll, and more. Your role will also involve maintaining and growing relationships with existing clients, ensuring they receive the highest level of service. Additionally, you will play a key role in business development to attract new clients and expand our service offerings.
Key Responsibilities:
Team Leadership:
- Supervise and mentor a team of bookkeeping professionals.
- Assign and review daily tasks to ensure accuracy and compliance with company standards.
- Foster a positive team environment that encourages professional development.
Client Relationship Management:
- Maintain and enhance relationships with existing clients to ensure their ongoing satisfaction and needs are met.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for client inquiries and concerns, providing timely and effective solutions.
Bookkeeping Oversight:
- Oversee all aspects of bookkeeping services, including AP, AR, payroll, and reconciliations.
- Ensure all financial transactions are accurately recorded and compliant with accounting standards.
Business Development:
- Identify opportunities for service expansion and client growth.
- Assist in the development of proposals and presentations for prospective clients.
- Participate in networking and community events to promote the firm and its services.
Reporting and Compliance:
- Prepare and present financial reports to clients and management.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and company policies.
