Our Team
Brave Care offers high-quality children's urgent care. We see pediatric patients cradle to college, for a variety of conditions including cold and flu, fevers, broken bones, and allergies. Open 7 days a week, we provide a convenient and cost-effective alternative to standard urgent care facilities and emergency rooms. Brave Care has an onsite lab and x-ray and is focused on treating patient concerns that require immediate care.
As Brave Care continues to grow we're looking for an Accounting Manager to support our Oregon and Texas market. This is a great opportunity to be part of a practice and company changing the way children and families access and receive care. We're looking for an individual contributor with multi-entity experience who can work with Brave Care staff and contractors to own the accounting and reporting function.
In this role, you will:
- Perform daily accounting processes including general accounting, AP, and revenue reconciliations
- Own the financial reporting process to deliver accurate and timely results
- Partner with People Operations on payroll
- Oversee all cash management
- Partner with the CEO and Director of Clinic Operations to develop clinic budgets including visit and revenue forecasts
- Develop procedures to ensure compliance with all tax and corporate filing requirements
- Own the corporate tax filing process end to end
- Partner with the CEO to develop and implement company-wide internal controls
- Assist with the recast of accounting records to US GAAP
- Support accounting and finance integration for new builds and acquired clinics
- Partner with CEO and other members of the Operations department on special projects
You'll be a good match if you have:
- Worked in a multi-entity environment and have experience with inter-company transactions
- Cash management experience
- Worked with complex revenue reconciliations
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Advanced data analysis and Excel skills
You'll need to have:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance, CPA preferred
- 5+ years of progressive accounting experience
- Strong knowledge of US GAAP
- Experience working with NetSuite
