We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Accounting Manager to join our accounting team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing daily accounting operations, ensuring accurate and timely financial reporting, and leading a team of accounting professionals. This role requires strong technical accounting skills, proficiency in NetSuite, and an active CPA license.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee and manage the daily operations of the accounting department, including accounts payable/receivable, general ledger, and bank reconciliations.
- Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and reports, ensuring compliance with GAAP.
- Develop and maintain accounting policies and procedures to ensure efficient and accurate financial processes.
- Lead the month-end and year-end close processes, including account reconciliations and journal entries.
- Ensure compliance with internal controls, company policies, and relevant regulations.
- Coordinate and collaborate with external auditors during audits and financial reviews.
- Provide guidance and mentorship to accounting staff, fostering a positive and collaborative team environment.
- Identify opportunities for process improvements and automation to enhance efficiency within the department.
- Assist in budgeting and forecasting processes, providing analysis and insights to support strategic decision-making.
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting
- Certified Public Accountant (CPA) license required.
- Minimum of 7 years of progressive accounting experience, with at least 3 years in a supervisory role.
- Strong proficiency in NetSuite is required.
- Excellent understanding of GAAP and financial reporting standards.
- Proven ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
