General Role Description

Provide accounts payable services for an international manufacturing operation

Role Accountabilities

-  Process supplier invoices via the ERP accounts payable modules, communicating proactively and effectively with internal approvers and suppliers, as needed

-  Research invoice discrepancies, coordinating with appropriate personnel, and make changes as needed

-  Generate check register, apply pending transactions, and calculate ending balance, in support of cash flow forecasting

-  Close Accounts Payable (AP) module in ERP according to financial monthly and annual schedule

-  Provide requested data for year-end external auditing

-  Test and implement ERP finance module changes and update work instructions accordingly

Requirements

Minimum Qualifications

-   HSD or equivalent

-   2 years accounting/finance experience

-   Proficiency in ERP finance modules

-   Demonstrated successful working relationships with clients, suppliers, and other internal and external contacts

-   Demonstrated successful and positive personal leadership, interpersonal, organizational, administrative, andcommunication skills

-   Demonstrated continuous improvement in areas of responsibility

-   Proficiency in MS Word, Excel, Outlook, and Windows

-   Availability to travel less than 5%

Preferred Qualifications

-   5 years’ accounting/finance experience

-   Proficiency in Oracle finance modules

-    Demonstrated accounting/finance experience in an international manufacturing operation

-   Demonstrated experience in other accounting/finance functions
