Assist and support the Accounting Department by generating and posting journal entries, performing balance sheet account reconciliations, reviewing various reports, researching invoices as needed, assisting on various special projects as needed, and performing other miscellaneous clerical and accounting-related tasks. Acting as a liaison with Accounts Payable including researching invoices and checks.


Essential Job Functions

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

1. Assists and supports the Accounting group by generating and posting journal entries.
2. Performing balance sheet account reconciliations.
3. Acting as a liaison with Accounts Payable including researching invoices and checks.

Minimum Requirements and Qualifications

Education
• High School Diploma or equivalent

Knowledge and skills
• Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks.
• Meet deadlines consistently.
• Ability to work hours to meet deadlines.

Technical Skills
• Microsoft Excel Proficiency

Job experience
• Accounting-related technical training or 2-year degree preferred
• Accounting experience-minimum of 1 year
• Excel experience - minimum of 1 year
• People Soft experience – helpful
