About the Job
Gradient, a Geosyntec Company, is seeking a motivated and resourceful Accounting Specialist to provide, join and support our accounting department located in our downtown Boston, MA location. This position is for 4-6 months currently with the possibility of a permanent role.
Gradient is an environmental and health risk sciences consulting firm specializing in environmental sciences, human and ecological risk sciences, product stewardship, and life sciences. Gradient's scientists have a variety of backgrounds in chemistry, engineering, toxicology, epidemiology, ecotoxicology, medical device and pharmaceuticals, exposure sciences, industrial hygiene, GIS, product safety, liability, and sustainability.

Required Experience:
· Enter and post cash receipts.
· Enter vendor invoices for payment, obtain payment authorization.
· Financial reporting for Branch Managers.
· Monthly invoicing processing.
· Prepare template for department budgets and compile budget book from final reports provided by the Controller.
· Lead Accounting Orientation for new hires.
· Other duties as assigned.
Education and Licensure
· Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance or equivalent in experience (required).
