Responsibilities:

• Assist with insurance accounting and day-to-day operations in accordance with GAAP and statutory accounting principles.
• Support monthly and year-end close processes.
• Prepare account reconciliations and analyze financial records to ensure accuracy.
• Conduct technical accounting research for complex transactions.
• Participate in various additional accounting projects as assigned.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance.
• 2+ years of experience in insurance accounting (Finance & Insurance or Property & Casualty).
• Strong knowledge of GAAP and ASC 606.
• CPA or CPA in-progress (preferred).
