Job Title: Accounting Specialist

Reports to: Controller

Pay Grade: $23 - $24/hour

FLSA: Non-Exempt

Date: October 2024

Purpose of Position- Process accounts payable, expense reimbursements and general ledger transactions.

Essential Duties/Responsibilities

Job Qualifications

Knowledge, Skill, and Ability:	Effective written and verbal communication skills with individuals and groups at all professional levels. Demonstrated organizational and time management skills. Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks/goals for self. Ability to work effectively with various technology including MS 365, internet based databases, Excel, Outlook, Word, etc. Effective problem solver. Ability to handle sensitive information and maintain confidentiality.
Training/Education:	Associates degree in accounting or a related field preferred OR Equivalent combination of education and experience. High school diploma or equivalent required.
Experience:	5 years accounting and/or bookkeeping related experience. 2-3 years of preferred experience with NetSuite posting entries, running reports, etc Intermediate excel knowledge
Working Environment/Physical Activities	Effective with shifting roles, responsibilities, and expectations in a changing environment. Ability to work effectively under the pressure of deadlines.
