About the Job
Express Employment Professionals of Littleton is currently seeking a Full Time Bookkeeper to assist in managing day-to-day accounting and finance activities. The ideal candidate will possess 5 years’ of experience of accounting, payroll, and finance along with experience working in QuickBooks Online and Microsoft Office platforms.
Responsibilities of the Accounting Specialist:
- Balance and maintain accurate ledgers from separate revenue and expense streams
- Match invoices to payments to member boards and vendors
- Coordinate bank deposits to different revenue streams
- Develop a payment authorization report to pay member boards and vendors which complies with an established schedule
- Maintain monthly financial statements
- Prepares a draft balance sheet and budget documents by the 10th day of each month
- Assist the executive director in preparing the financial documents and reports for the annual audit
- Other related duties as assigned
Requirements of the Bookkeeper:
- At least 5 years’ experience performing the work outlined in the responsibilities above
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Excel, and QuickBooks
- Confidentiality, excellent organizational skills, and accuracy
- BA degree in Accounting
