Communicating with lenders, clients, and suppliers. Assisting with daily, monthly, and yearly accounting activities and projects. Job Responsibilities:
- Record/process bank activity in accounting database.
- Post customer payments to accounts and prepare deposits.
- Monitor AR Aging and communicate with customers to resolve delinquencies.
- Assist with customer maintenance.
- Process AP invoices by performing 3-way match with invoice, purchase order, and packing slip.
- Communicate with vendors regarding any discrepancies.
- Prepare payments for disbursement.
- Expense report reconciliation and processing.
- Assist with vendor maintenance.
- Month-end reconciliation.
- General ledger data entry.
- Assist in month-end account reconciliations.
- Maintain month-end accruals.
- Maintain fixed asset register.
Education/ Previous Experience:
- Associates degree in accounting or equivalent work experience.
- 1+ years of experience in AP, AR, and General Ledger functions.
- Proficiency and experience with Microsoft Excel and related financial systems; experience with IQMS (or other modern ERP system).
- Excellent communication skills written, verbal, and interpersonal.
- Process-driven; proven analytic and problem-solving abilities.
