RESPONSIBILITIES
General Accounting
Prepare and file financial statements, 1099 forms, sales tax returns, and expense reports
Post general ledger entries
Assist with cash management by organizing deposits and going to local bank for routine transactions such as obtaining petty cash, making deposits, and remitting payments
Process accounts payable and accounts receivable for multiple companies including scanning invoices, obtaining approval, entering into system, confirming check amounts to invoices, mailing payments to vendors and/or applying cash.
Rental Fleet Assistance
Assist with lift truck rental fleet process including add/delete assets, reconcile branch’s fleet, update and coordinate monthly reports
Answer questions from branch and sales department personnel, Prepare monthly reports
Administrative Support
Answer, screen, and route incoming calls to appropriate personnel
Sort and distribute incoming mail
Monitor and order office supplies and equipment
Distribute highly confidential information such as stockholders and affiliated entities’ financial and investment statements and tax returns
Schedule maintenance of department copiers, scanners, and other equipment
Organize and maintain storage of hard copy files on and off-site
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
2-4 years' accounting experience
Associate Degree (Accounting)
Good communication skills and problem-solving capabilities
Attention to details, ability to multi-task, confidentiality and organizational skills highly desired
Work Authorization:
Crown will only employ those who are legally authorized to work in the United States
