Accounting Specialist - Ledgent Finance & Accounting

Job Summary:

We are seeking a detail-oriented Accounting Specialist to join one of our clients in the SW Portland area. Interested candidates should apply directly, or email resumes for consideration.

Key Responsibilities:

• Process accounts payable and receivable, ensuring timely and accurate billing and payment
• Reconcile bank statements and maintain cash flow reports
• Assist in the preparation of budgets and financial forecasts for properties
• Manage tenant billing and collections, addressing inquiries and resolving issues
• Conduct regular audits of financial records and procedures to ensure compliance
• Collaborate with property managers to track financial performance and identify areas for improvement
• Maintain organized financial documentation and ensure compliance with relevant regulations

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred
• 2+ years of accounting experience, preferably in property management or real estate.
• Proficient in accounting software and Microsoft Excel
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks effectively
