A reputable construction and electrical contracting company in Roseville, CA, is seeking a Construction Accounting Specialist to manage full-cycle accounting responsibilities. This role is ideal for someone with a strong background in construction accounting, accounts payable/receivable, payroll, and prevailing wage reporting.

Schedule: Monday – Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM

Pay: $25.00 - $30.00
Location: Roseville, CA

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee accounts receivable (AR) and accounts payable (AP) processes, ensuring accurate and timely transactions.
• Manage general ledger entries, account reconciliations, and financial reporting.
• Process weekly payroll for 25–30 employees, including prevailing wage calculations and reporting.
• Prepare and submit payroll taxes, ensuring compliance with all federal, state, and local regulations.
• Conduct prevailing wage reporting and verify compliance with labor regulations.
• Collaborate with the project management team to support financial tracking and budgeting for ongoing projects.

Qualifications:

• 5+ years of accounting experience, with a preference for experience in the construction industry.
• Proficiency in construction accounting software (Deltek ComputerEase experience is highly desirable).
• Strong knowledge of payroll processing, including prevailing wage and payroll tax requirements.
• Detail-oriented with excellent organizational and time management skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
