We are seeking detail-oriented and highly organized Accounting Specialists with 3-5 years of experience. In this role, you will be responsible for managing day-to-day accounting tasks, ensuring accurate financial reporting, and supporting the overall financial health. The ideal candidate will possess strong analytical skills, a deep understanding of accounting principles, and the ability to collaborate effectively with internal teams.
Key Responsibilities:
Accounts Payable/Receivable: Process invoices, verify accuracy, and ensure timely payments. Monitor outstanding balances and follow up on overdue accounts.
General Ledger Maintenance: Post and review journal entries, reconcile accounts, and assist with month-end and year-end close processes.
Financial Reporting: Prepare accurate financial statements, balance sheets, and income statements on a monthly, quarterly, and annual basis.
Bank Reconciliation: Perform monthly bank reconciliations, investigating and resolving any discrepancies.
Expense Tracking: Ensure all expenses are accurately documented and in compliance with company policies.
Audit Support: Assist in the preparation of documents and reports required for internal and external audits.
Tax Compliance: Assist with preparing and submitting tax filings, ensuring compliance with local, state, and federal regulations.
Budgeting and Forecasting: Collaborate with management to support the budgeting process and provide financial analysis as needed.
Process Improvement: Identify opportunities to streamline and improve accounting processes for greater efficiency.
Cross-Department Collaboration: Work closely with other departments to provide financial insights and ensure smooth financial operations.
