Boston, MA- South Station 2 days ONSITE REQUIRED
$86k/yearly sign on bonus available
Our Human Services client based in downtown Boston, MA is seeking an Accounting Supervisor with a background in nonprofit, human services or healthcare to lead their team of four. This position will report to the Controller

Qualifications:
- BS in accounting or BS in management with accounting concentration is required
- 3+ years full cycle Accounting experience in Nonprofit, Healthcare or related industry required
- MS Office, Advanced Excel, MS Solomon/Dynamics, Peachtree experience required
- Experience training, supervising or managing a team required
Responsibilities:
- Manage a team of 4
- Manage full cycle accounting process: prepare of monthly journal entries, maintaining general ledger, analyzing balance sheet accounts and ledger accounts reconciliation, month-end and year-end closings, preparation of the financial reports and statements, reconciliation of bank statements
- Prepare payroll reports, preparation of budgets for certain programs,
- Fiscal monitoring of direct service vendors.
- Preparation of monthly billings to funding agencies and other billable entities
- Participate in analyzing and reporting Purchased Service data
- Prepare back-up materials for the outside auditor and assist in audit preparation.
- Prepare and conduct annual performance reviews for the fiscal staff.
