The Child Support Enforcement Services Division (CSED) is currently recruiting for an Accounting Technician 1 to fill a full-time permanent position in our Anchorage office.

What you will be doing:
Under the general direction of the supervisor, the incumbent of this position will perform paraprofessional-level accounting work which requires technical knowledge with regard to application of standard accounting procedures and practices in analyzing and interpreting accounts and accounting documents.

Who we are looking for:
To be successful in this position, you will need the following core competencies:
- Experience in computerized accounting,
- Experience finding discrepancies in payroll, accounts payable and/or receivables,
- Experience with Microsoft Excel or similar spreadsheet programs and Microsoft Word or similar word processing programs,
- Good attendance practices and punctuality,
- Strong interpersonal skills that enables effectively working in a team,
- Experience handling confidential and sensitive information,
- Ability to manage multiple, changing priorities and deadlines in a fast-paced agency.
