Accounting Technician - 8 hrs/day (Fiscal Services/PC#250028)
Position Summary: Performs financial record keeping duties associated with the processing and completing of accounting transactions for various accounts. Assumes responsibility for one or more elements within a complete accounting system such as customer accounts receivable, accounts payable cash, fund accounts, and limited-scope financial summary data.

Salary: $26.62 - $35.17 per hour in 9 annual steps. Salary placement is based on experience (new hire maximum of step 5).
Location: Fiscal Services
Hours: 8 hours/day; 5 days/week
Benefits: Medical, Dental, Vision, and Employee Life Insurance available for employees who work 4+ hours per day (Full district contribution for 6+ hours/day; 50% contribution for 4-5.99 hours/day).
Education and Experience: The position requires completion of high school, plus college-level curriculum in bookkeeping or business practices and 3 years experience in a production oriented financial record keeping capacity. Additional higher education in accounting may substitute for some experience.
Licenses and Certifications: May require a valid driver’s license.
