We are seeking candidates for an Accounts Payable Accountant position with a highly successful manufacturer located near Somerset, MA. The ideal candidate will have 3+ years of high volume accounts payable experience, preferably in manufacturing.
This is a contract-to-hire position that will pay $32/hr (depending on experience) within a 40-hour work week. This position is required to be onsite 5 days/week.

We are seeking candidates for an Accounts Payable Accountant position with a highly successful manufacturer located near Somerset, MA. The ideal candidate will have 3+ years of high volume accounts payable experience, preferably in manufacturing.
This is a contract-to-hire position that will pay $32/hr (depending on experience) within a 40-hour work week. This position is required to be onsite 5 days/week.
Responsibilities:
- Manage full-cycle accounts payable, including matching invoices to purchase orders, coding transactions to the general ledger, and batching and processing payments.
- Investigate and resolve discrepancies between purchase orders and invoices.
- Communicate with customers to address and resolve billing issues.
- Demonstrate strong skills in account and bank reconciliations.
- Possess extensive experience in general ledger coding and reconciliations.
- Maintain a solid understanding of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP).
- Execute journal entries and adjustments during month-end close.
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Business, or Finance is required
- 3+ years of experience in Accounts Payable
- Proven ability to manage high-volume accounts payable processing
- Proficient in accounting ERP systems and Excel
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
