Client Overview:

Our client is a well establish and rapidly growing organization that is looking to add an Accounts Payable Accountant. This organization is looking for someone professional that can work on a team just as effectively as they can work independently. 2 to 4 years of experience is a big plus but would be open to a sharp recent graduate with an accounting/account payables internship.

Salary/Hourly Rate:

$25 – $27/hr

Position Overview:

Accounts Payable Accountant applicants must have strong attention to detail, and analytical skills. Looking for a Accounts Payable Accountant with previous experience in full cycle accounts payable and general accounting.

Responsibilities of the Accounts Payable Accountant:

• Matching, batching, coding, and entering invoices
• Working knowledge of purchase orders
• Researching and resolving accounts payable with customers and vendors
• Updating and reconciling sub-ledger to the general ledger
• Accounts Payable and general accounting experience

Qualifications for the Accounts Payable Accountant:

• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Comfortable with independent work
• Experience with ERP software is a plus
• Strong Excel skills

Education Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree and equivalent experience is preferred
