Job Title: Accounts Payable Accountant
Location: Woodland Hills, California, United States
Salary Range: $60,000-65,000
Job duties for Accounts Payable Accountant are handling payable for G&A office expense and Project related cost. The detailed outline is, but not limited to, the followings:
1. Manage G&A expenses and process payments on timely matter.
2. Manage multiple construction projects accounting included invoice processing with supporting and approving documentation and entering into Accounting System, Sage 300, budget comparison and payment process.
3. Review and update subcontractor’s agreement and change orders in accounting system.
4. Review and update vendors’ information with insurance, preliminary notice, labor compliance and Licenses for projects needed and, tax filing information.
5. Verify, review, reconcile and, update subcontractors, suppliers and, vendors’ invoices in daily, weekly, and monthly basis.
6. Prepare and process disbursement checks for subcontractors, suppliers, and vendors. Collect unconditional and conditional progress waivers from subcontractors, suppliers and, vendors from 1st thru 3rd tier.
7. Evaluate, analyze, and report budgets for project monitoring in weekly basis.
8. Reconcile and accrue subcontractors, suppliers and, vendors’ project costs in monthly basis.
9. Maintain good filing system in project base.
10. Process closes out paper works of project and collect all final 1st thru 3rd tier unconditional final release.
11. Maintain excellent communication with all general contractors, subcontractors, suppliers, vendors and project managers and, government agencies.
12. Perform additional assignments per supervisor’s direction.
The specific compensation for this position will be determined by a number of factors, including the scope, complexity and location of the role as well as the cost of labor in the market; the skills, education, training, credentials and experience of the candidate; and other conditions of employment.
