About the Job
As Accounts Payable, You will be responsible for tracking, recording, and reconciling financial data including, travel, expenses, advances, garnishments, interest etc. Your financial data expertise, meticulous attention to detail, strong organizational and communication skills, and ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment will all be essential for success in this role.
Responsibilities:
- Manage, track, and record amounts payable to vendors, consultants, employees and others.
- Reconcile insurance benefit invoices for accuracy based on employee benefit elections.
- Review consultant invoices, employee reimbursement requests, and other expense forms to ensure accuracy prior to processing for payment.
- Regularly reconcile financial data to ensure accuracy between different systems, contracts, and statements
- Investigate and resolve discrepancies promptly to maintain accurate financial records
- Ensure compliance with government regulations, tax codes, and financial reporting standards
- Issue 1099s
- Generate, reconcile and submit weekly and monthly 'cost reimbursable', 'time and material' and 'firm fixed price' invoices for 30+ contracts
- Reconcile AR to ensure all invoices paid timely by customers.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree - Accounting, Finance, or related field
- Minimum of Four (4) Years' Accounts Receivable experience
- Minimum of Six (6) Years' Billing experience
- Proficiency in Deltek GCS for data entry, reconciliation, and reporting
- Highly proficient in Microsoft Excel and PDF
