Accounts Payable/Receivable Clerk - Direct Hire ($50k-$60k) - Watkinsville, GA
Our client, a reputable contractor, is seeking an experienced Accounts Payable/Receivable Clerk to join their team in Watkinsville, Georgia. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in accounting, with a preference for those with experience using Vista software.
Key Responsibilities:
- Process accounts payable invoices and ensure timely payments to vendors
- Manage accounts receivable, including invoicing, payment processing, and collections
- Maintain accurate financial records and reconcile accounts
- Communicate with vendors and customers to resolve billing inquiries and discrepancies
- Assist with month-end closing procedures and financial reporting
Required Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent (an Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Accounting or a related field is preferred)
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in accounts payable and accounts receivable
- Proficiency in accounting software (Vista software experience is preferred)
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in financial record-keeping
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Location: In-office position in Watkinsville, Georgia Salary Range: $50,000 - $60,000 (Temp to Hire)
