Job Title: Accounts Payable Associate
About Us: Our client is a leading manufacturer dedicated to providing high-quality products and exceptional service. We are seeking a detail-oriented Accounts Payable Associate to join our finance team and support our operations.
Position Summary: The Accounts Payable Associate will be responsible for processing invoices received via the A/P email. This role requires heavy data entry, with a target of processing 100 invoices per day, ensuring accurate and timely payments. The ideal candidate will also communicate with vendors to verify information and resolve any discrepancies.
Key Responsibilities:
- Open and review invoices received in the A/P email for processing.
- Enter invoices into the NetSuite ERP system for payment, ensuring high accuracy.
- Process a minimum of 100 invoices daily, maintaining efficiency and attention to detail.
- Follow up with vendors to confirm accuracy of information and ensure timely submission of invoices.
- Resolve any discrepancies or issues with invoices and vendor accounts.
- Maintain organized records of processed invoices and vendor communications.
- Assist with month-end closing processes related to accounts payable.
- Support process improvement initiatives within the accounts payable function.
Qualifications:
- Associate’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; Bachelor’s degree preferred.
- Previous experience in accounts payable or a similar role, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
- Strong proficiency in data entry and experience with ERP systems, specifically NetSuite.
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to manage high-volume data entry efficiently.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
