Accounts Payable / Billing Specialist - JRT Mechanical

Accounts Payable
* Prepare and process vendor invoices including data entry and scanning
* Assist in accounts payable questions, reconciling accounts and issues as needed
* Responsible for including sales tax on appropriate invoices and recording specific taxation of vendors
* Prepare reports and assist with weekly check runs
* Record cash disbursement entries for various expenses such as postage, benefits, ACH transactions, wires,         etc. by collecting supportive documentation from relevant sources
* Create, maintain and update vendor/subcontractor information
* Manage and track Business License spreadsheet 
* Other duties and responsibilities as assigned

Billing Specialist
* Create and submit monthly billing packet to customers
* Post, verifies and record customer payments/joint checks and transactions related to accounts receivable
* Responsible for sending and collecting lien waivers to vendors/subcontractors 

Required Skills and Experience
* Ability to learn new software systems, Spectrum experience desired or other construction software
* Excellent computer, administrative, time management and telephone skills
* Strong knowledge of Microsoft Excel
* Consistency with deadlines, forecasting delays and creating contingency plans
* High degree of attention to detail with accuracy
