Care Alliance Health Center is looking for an experienced Accounts Payable Clerk for a three (3) month temporary assignment from Mid-November of 2024 to Mid-February 2025.

We are looking for a skilled Accounts Payable Clerk to fulfil a three (3) month temporary assignment to be responsible for processing all invoices received for payment and for undertaking the payment of all creditors in an accurate, efficient and timely manner.
We are looking for a skilled Accounts Payable Clerk to fulfil a three (3) month temporary assignment to be responsible for processing all invoices received for payment and for undertaking the payment of all creditors in an accurate, efficient and timely manner.
Responsibilities:
- Proven working experience as an Accounts Payable Clerk
- Process invoices and create Cash Distribution Sheets, Purchase Requisitions, and enter invoices into Great Plains
- Organize and schedule ACH payments weekly and process payments via check, vendor portals or telephone
- Send remittance advice to vendors as needed
- Track and reconcile credit card purchases & allocate vendor invoices to the credit card system
- Apply cleared payments to open invoices based on daily bank activity
- Create and post payment batches in Great Plains
- File fully processed invoices into vendor files
- Respond to vendor inquiries, apply payments to proper grants, set up new vendors, reconcile accounts and update Cash Disbursement Sheets
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 2 plus years of AP accounting experience
- Solid understanding of basic bookkeeping & accounts payable principles
- Healthcare experience a plus
- Experience with Great Plains accounting software highly desired
