What we are looking for:
We are searching for a talented Accounts Payable/Payroll Clerk to join our team.
How you will fit in:
You are team player, who can work in a fast-faced friendly environment, are detailed oriented and organized. Completed all tasks and assignments in a safe and timely manner and strives for continuous improvement to increase personal productivity.
What you will do:
- Compiles and sort documents such as invoices and checks, substantiating business transactions.
- Verifies and posts details of business transactions, such as funds disbursed, and totals accounts to ledgers or computer spreadsheets and databases.
- Computes and records charges, refunds, cost of lost or damaged goods, freight charges, rentals, and similar items.
- Prepares vouchers, invoices, checks, account statements, reports, and other records and reviews for accuracy.
- Assist with month end close.
- Monitors loans and accounts payable to ensure that payments are up to date.
- Reconciles report discrepancies and problems.
- Codes data for input to financial data processing system according to company procedures.
- Reviews computer printouts against manually kept ledgers and makes corrections. Orders, receives, and maintains office supplies.
- Process payroll on a biweekly basis for all employees
- Ensures payroll information is accurate by verifying employees’ changes, hours, and approvals.
- Creates and prints fax cover sheets, memos, correspondence, reports, and other documents when necessary.
- Performs other duties as needed, such as filing, photocopying, scanning, and collating.

What you have:
- Associates degree in accounting, business administration or related field preferred or a combination of education and experience.
- 2-3 years of Accounts payable experience
- Experience working with QuickBooks, 3-way match, and CMS
- Strong ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with co-workers
- Excellent attitude towards manager/supervisor, employees, customers
- Ability to perform work in a quality manner
- Ability to follow verbal, written and oral instructions.
- High level of organization and attention to detail.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
