  Role and Responsibilities:
  The Accounts Payable Clerk plays a crucial role in maintaining the financial health and integrity of the company by ensuring that its accounts payable obligations are met accurately and efficiently.
  
  
  
  • Vouchers all invoices into Accounts Payable
    
  • Make sure to review all invoices for accuracy and receive approval from appropriate staff.
    
  • Process payments for any vendors
    
  • Provides sales tax documents to vendors so CW is not charged sales tax
    
  • Contacts vendors if there are any discrepancies with the invoices
    
  • Reviews open payables monthly to ensure all vendors are paid timely
    
  • Tends to clerical duties related to specific area of responsibility
    
  • Performs miscellaneous data entry function as directed
    
  • Collects data and verifies accuracy
    
  • Performs other duties as assigned.
    
    Qualifications & Education Requirements:
    
    
    
    • High School Diploma or GED
      
    • Minimum of two (2) years of Accounts Payable experience (Preferred)
      
      Required Skills:
      
      
      
      • Must be able to instruct others on how to operate any software relevant to Accounts Payable
        
      • Must be able to follow instructions
        
      • Must be able to work as a team
        
      • Must be able to operate all Microsoft Applications proficiently
        
      • Ability to plan and organize
        
      • Ability to work well under pressure and meet deadlines
        
      • Strong sense of urgency; self-directed
        
        Preferred Qualifications and Education:
        
        
        
        • Associate degree in related field (Preferred)
          
        • Strong commitment to a high level of service and quality standards.
          
        • Proficient technological and computer software skills.
