Accounts Payable Clerk- Temporary position - Ace/Avant Concrete Construction Co.

Summary/Objective

Responsible for providing accounting support to the accounting department. Ensure that all invoices and bills are processed accurately. Ensure files are complete and maintained.

Essential Functions

1. Perform accounting and clerical functions to support supervisors.
2. Process invoices from vendors, ensuring they are accurate and complete. Includes scanning and uploading electronic invoices to Spectrum. Reconcile AP reports to vendor statements.
3. Update and maintain accounting journals and other records detailing financial business transactions (e.g., disbursements, expense vouchers, receipts, accounts payable) for related companies. Perform bank reconciliation for related company.
4. Match credit card statements with receipts, code transactions and enter into accounting system for credit cards (Ramp & Mastercard.)
5. Maintains accounting records by making copies; filing documents.
