Overview:At Risk Program Administrators, our team of experts can oversee the details of your risk management program so you can focus on your communities. By integrating your specialized knowledge with our strategic expertise, we partner with you to define what success looks like for your organization and members. We have developed and grown more pools and programs than any other administrator, now a subsidary of Gallagher!
How you'll make an impact:- Lead team member for client vendor invoice processing, including vendor invoice entry, payment processes, and vendor setup
- Provide guidance to the offshore client vendor invoice entry team
- Work with client accounting, member services and claims adjudication teams to ensure records are accurate and to resolve problems and discrepancies
- Respond to vendor, member service team and claim adjudication team inquires related to vendor invoices and vendor payments
- Ensure vendors are setup following established processes, maintain the vendor master information, and file preparation and issuance of 1099’s
- Setup up new clients and approval workflows in accounts payable system
- Establish and maintain relationships with third-party vendors utilized for accounts payable processing, 1099 submissions, check printing, etc
- Maintain accounts payable stats for client accounting department
- Identify and make recommendations to improve department processes to ensure performing at optimal levels with segregation of duties in mind, particularly processes related to accounts payable
- Under general supervision, responsible for moderately complex accounting activities relating to the maintenance of a complete and accurate general ledger and the resultant managerial reports and financial statements
- On behalf of clients, works to ensure regulatory compliance
- May post accruals and prepayments, reconcile intercompany accounts, reconcile P&L and balance sheet accounts, manage & control the fixed asset register, report & control capital expenditures
Required:
- Bachelor's degree (Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration) and 2 years of related experience required
Preferred:
- Accounts Payable experience is preferred
