Job Title: Accounts Payable Clerk
Job Summary:
The Accounts Payable Clerk is responsible for processing invoices, managing payments, and maintaining accurate financial records. This role ensures timely and accurate transactions while supporting vendor relationships and assisting in month-end reconciliation.
Key Responsibilities:
- Process, verify, and record invoices for goods and services.
- Prepare and schedule payments (checks, ACH, etc.) in accordance with company terms.
- Reconcile accounts payable transactions and resolve discrepancies.
- Maintain vendor relationships and respond to inquiries.
- Assist with month-end closing and generate accounts payable reports.
- Ensure compliance with accounting policies and procedures.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent; Accounting degree preferred.
- Previous accounts payable or accounting experience preferred.
- Knowledge of accounting software and Excel.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
