Overview:Risk Program Administrators (RPA) is a division of Gallagher providing a full -spectrum of risk management consulting services to public, private, and nonprofit entities across the United States. Though we pride ourselves on being able to tackle virtually anything in the risk management space, our core services include: self-insured program administration; alternative risk financing analysis; third-party vendor management; loss control and prevention; claims administration and insurance coverage review.
How you'll make an impact:What will you be doing?
- Lead team member for client accounts receivable processing, including member billing and application of payments received
- Reconcile and report client cash balances to accounting team prior to weekly vendor payments
- May process stale dated client checks
- Maintain stats for client accounting department
- Identify and make recommendations to improve department processes to ensure performing at optimal levels with segregation of duties in mind, particularly processes related to accounts payable
Responsible for managing daily, weekly, and monthly tasks along with overseeing domestic and offshore team staff’s KPIs, perform training, and resolving complex issues
Identifies program business and/or issues with carriers and propose changes to management to correct the issue
Provides training to less experienced staff as well as work closely with peers to ensure all deadlines are met
Reviews/refines, writes new and updates SOPs where applicable along with training, communicating, and implementing the new procedures
Performs account reconciliations in response to either internal/external inquirie
Acts as point of contact for escalation issues
- Ensures procedures are followed and completes special projects
Required:
- High School diploma and 3 years related experience required
Preferred:
- Associates degree preferred
- Experience working with multiple competing priorities in a fast paced environment
- Effective time management
