Randall Electrical Contractors is currently seeking a top-tier Accounts Payable Specialist to work in our Titusville, FL office. We are excited about this important role and are determined to consider the best and brightest candidates who meet our requirements.
Position Summary
At Randall, the Accounts Payable Specialist ensures that accounts payable data is collated and processed in a confidential and timely manner to assure the prompt and accurate processing of disbursements to vendors and assists with other office functions.
Essential Functions
- Work with Project Coordinator regarding incoming AR for set to pay.
- Maintain list of AP needs for lien releases.
- Request Lien Releases from vendors and subcontractors, file in job folders.
- AP invoice data entry, identify discrepancies, request credits or corrections.
- Provide PM’s invoices weekly for review and approval.
- Prepare weekly AP needs based on funding/set to pay.
- Process AP payments to vendors weekly.
- New Vendor set up.
- Maintain vendor account reconciliations.
- Maintain and support vendor relations.
- Assist with office walk-ins.
- Assist with office deliveries (UPS, FedEx, USPS, Amazon)
- Assist with receiving warehouse deliveries if PM not available.
- Notify PM when orders are received.
- Create Purchase Orders and send to vendors materials, tools, equipment, and temp labor.
- Adjust POs as needed.
- Review major po’s Gear/Lighting POs to watch for overages, provide invoice detail to PM for review.
- Complete applications for new vendors for GM and CFO approval.
- Assist with incoming calls.
- Assist with payroll processing as needed.

- High School Diploma required.
- Communication skills (can speak to people in a professional environment).
- Time conscious (can be on time and efficient).
- Demonstrate dependability, flexibility, and teamwork.
- Ability to pass drug screen and reference check.
- Ability to follow verbal and written instructions.
- Ability to adhere to, implement, and follow safety procedures at all times.
- Ability to work well with others.
Physical Requirements
This is primarily an office position and, as such, you must be able to sit up to six or more hours in an eight-hour workday, lift light objects such as files and paperwork frequently during the day, and objects weighing up to 10 pounds occasionally during the day. You must also be able to bend, stretch, crouch, and lift as required by the job.
