Position: Accounts Payable Specialist
Responsibilities:
- Process and review invoices for accuracy and compliance with company policies.
- Code and enter invoices into the accounting system, ensuring correct account allocation.
- Prepare and process payment runs, including checks, ACH, and wire transfers.
- Reconcile vendor statements and resolve discrepancies in a timely manner.
- Communicate with vendors and internal departments to resolve payment-related inquiries.
- Assist with month-end closing tasks, including AP account reconciliations.
- Maintain organized and up-to-date AP records and documentation.
- Support the finance team with ad-hoc projects and reports as needed.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as an Accounts Payable Specialist or in a similar role.
- Strong understanding of accounts payable processes and accounting principles.
- Proficiency in accounting software and MS Excel; experience with ERP systems is a plus.
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and processing.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills.
- Effective communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
Education and Experience:
- High school diploma or equivalent; additional education in accounting or finance is a plus.
- years of relevant experience in accounts payable or a related field.

The individual may also be eligible for discretionary bonuses.
