This position is a hands-on, high-energy role for this growing entrepreneurial business and will report to the Controller. This role is a considered hybrid, currently NexTerra works four days in the office and one day remote (subject to change).
RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO:
- Vendor invoice processing, vouchering and image scanning
- Manage invoice approval process
- Weekly processing of ACH/check runs
- Respond to vendor inquiries
- Manage company credit card program and T&E reporting
- Prepare accruals in support of month-end and year-end closing processes
- Vendor set up and maintenance (as needed, backup coverage)
- Processing sales invoices and applying payments (as needed, backup coverage)
- Ensure internal controls are effective and make recommendations to improve internal controls as needed
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:
- Bachelor’s degree preferred
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES:
• Proficient computer skills in MS Word, Excel, and Outlook.
• Excellent organizational and time management skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Knowledge of general accounting principles and procedures.
• Accurate and detailed oriented.
