Position Overview
As an Accounts Payable Clerk, you will be a crucial part of a team of four in the finance department. Your role will involve data entry on obligations, 3-point matching, and payment processing of invoices. Our client manages various grants across three program areas with a decentralized service delivery system and multiple offices.
Essential Functions
- Conduct timely reconciliation and payment of invoices, client vouchers, and employee reimbursements.
- Organize and maintain physical and electronic files, including vendor records and W-9s.
- Receive and process incoming and outgoing mail and packages.
Qualifications
- Education: Minimum of 2 years of Accounts Payable experience with a solid understanding of Accounts Payable.
- Highly detail-oriented, collaborative, and well-organized.
- Intermediate proficiency in MS Excel and Word.
- Experience managing high volumes of Accounts Payable or Accounts Receivable.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive financial information.
Preferred Qualifications
- Education: 2+ years of Accounts Payable experience.
- Experience with MIP Accounting software and Microix automated workflow software a +
- Bilingual in Spanish and English a +.
- Supervisory experience a+.
Additional Information
- Location: Gresham, Woodburn, or Hood River, Oregon. On-site with flexibility to work from home 1 day per week, once established.
- Salary Range: $23.00 – $26.00 per hour.
