Client Overview:

Our client is a financial services company offering individual and businesses financial advisory and excellent customer care. They are seeking a Accounts Payable Specialist to join their team!

Salary/Hourly Rate:

$22 – $26/hr

Position Overview:

The Accounts Payable Specialist will be assisting the Accounts Payable Team with invoicing, making payments, vendor communication & outreach, reconciling accounts, coding invoices, and more. The Accounts Payable Specialist handles processing transactions and performing accounting duties such as account maintenance, recording entries and reconciling books of accounts.

Responsibilities of the Accounts Payable Specialist:

• Establishing and maintaining relationships with new and existing vendors
• Ensuring bills and payroll are paid in a timely and accurate manner while adhering to specific departmental procedures/needs
• Processing high volumes of due invoices for payments
• Managing accounts payable using accounting software and other programs

Qualifications for the Accounts Payable Specialist:

• 2+ years of prior accounts payable experience is required
• Your most recent roles should be in Accounts Payable
• Proficiency using ERP systems is required (NetSuite, QuickBooks, Etc.)
• Proficiency in Excel is required

Education Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree is a plus
