Accounts Payable Specialist - Tandym

Our client is currently looking for an Accounts Payable Specialist to work part-time Monday through Wednesday, 8 hours each day, on-site in New York City.

Position Level: Associate (2-3 years of experience)

Required Skills:

• Expertise using Microsoft Excel
• Keen attention to detail
• Excellent organizational abilities
• Familiarity with JDE and Basware (highly preferred but not essential)

Primary Responsibilities:

• Process invoices using the AP front-end system (Basware) while adhering to policies and internal controls
• Onboard and vet new vendors
• Investigate and resolve vendor inquiries about overdue invoices
• Handle accounting and audit inquiries
• Review and code invoices and payments
• Conduct daily analysis of the Basware queue
• Annually maintain and file 1099s
